SMALTA
TSVITE TEREN, together with the non-governmental organisation Ukraine WOW and the Alla Horska and Viktor Zaretsky Foundation, presents the limited SMALTA pendant collection. The line is dedicated to the mosaic "Borivter", created in 1967 in Mariupol by a group of artists led by Alla Horska.
The base of the pendant is authentic smalt from the 1960s — the very material from which "Borivter" was recreated in the summer of 2025. Back then, 15 monumental artists reproduced the original mosaic in the smallest detail; it had been severely damaged during the full-scale invasion. For "Borivter" they used 700 kilograms of smalt. The small fragments that were chipped off to assemble the panel were preserved.
As a symbol of courage and creative freedom, the piece comes alive and speaks in meanings on the wonderful Olena Zaretska — an artist and granddaughter of Alla Horska. "I am ready to be a bridge — this is my mission. I want as many people as possible to learn about this part of the history of art and the history of Ukraine"
We donate 30% of the sales of the jewellery to the Alla Horska and Viktor Zaretsky Foundation.
