A series created together with the production team of the film "Pamfir", which was presented at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.
The film "Pamfir" explores questions of moral choice, family ties and the influence of the past on the present. The events unfold in western Ukraine on the eve of the Malanka carnival celebration.
Malanka is a traditional Ukrainian folk holiday connected with the custom of "Malankuvannia" — rites, theatrical performances and carols.
Young people dress up in costumes of a goat, a bear, a devil and other folk characters and go from house to house to sing songs to the hosts, act out scenes and wish them happiness and prosperity.
The wild costumes and bizarre characters that fill the carnival inspired us — here the masks of the disguised became jewellery.
The PAMFIR line is made of porcelain and coated with gold.
All ceramic pieces are handmade by artisans in Lviv.
